A Week in Outfits

Woo so I'm one week down - high five! I am seriously excited to get stuck in and to start making my mark on the company. Had some really positive meetings about my role which have me bursting with ideas..bring it on.

As I don't have an outfit post scheduled for this week I'm going to share with you what I wore for my first week.

Fierce concentration taking these pics

Monday - Blue Squirrel Dress from Topshop, Black Court Shoes from Clarks
Tuesday - Purple Cardigan from Warehouse, Navy Blouse from a Thailand Market, Peg legged trousers from Topshop, court shoes from Faith
Wednesday - Purple top from Penneys, Skirt from French Connection, Pumps from Topshop, Necklace from Penneys

Thursday - Black Tee, Dunnes Stores. Trousers H&M, Court Shoes Clarks, Necklace H&M
Friday - Blouse Topshop, Trousers H&M, Court Shoes Clarks

I had a pretty standard weekend, headed out on Friday night to celebrate my first week (as you have probably gathered we will celebrate just about anything) and then I literally sat on the couch Saturday and Sunday, it was great!

And the exits are here, here and here....

Even though I was doing the Marathon on Monday I couldn't not go out over the bank holiday, and I have a few things to celebrate so myself and Jen hit the town on Saturday night.

We went all out, the night kicked off with dinner at Soho which is our go to spot for dinner, of course we had cocktails before we even looked at the menu! We had planned to head to a couple of other spots for drinks but the new cocktail menu in Soho is amazing so we stayed there and then headed straight to Voodoo - I just love this club more after every visit, it was an epic night.

So on to the ensemble :-)

Totally channeling an air hostess with this dress! The dress is from Laundry Room, Shoes are from Faith.

Not the biggest fan of these face shots

With my make up and hair I was going for the "pin up" look, well trying to, everything was going perfect until I burned my face with the curling wand! I mean how did I even do that - thankfully it didn't blister but my face was burning all night, I am an idiot yes :-)

To get the look I used the following products; Urban Decay Smoked Eye Palette, Benefit They're Real Mascara, Benefit Catch Me If You Can Powder, Mac Fix+ Finishing Mist, MAC Studio Fix Fluid NC25, Benefit Peek-a-bright-eyes, MAC Satin Red lippy, MAC Studio Fix Powder, Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion, Clarins Instant Light, Urban Decay Precision Liner, Rimmel Red Dynamite Lip liner, MAC Blacktrack and Rimmel Natural Bronzer - yes it takes that much make up for me to look good ha!
It was my first time using my new Real Techniques eye brushes I'll be doing a full review soon but for now I'll sum them up in one word - WOW!

I should have gotten a pic of the back of Jen's dress, it was backless with a cowl detail - absolutely stunning!

I have seriously exciting news to announce tomorrow but until then thanks for reading today, B x

Queen Bey

Howdy!!! :-)

What a weekend - if you have not seen Beyonce in concert yet, I advise you to put it on the bucket list.
When it comes to female singers/bands I have seen Britney, Rihanna, Cheryl and Destinys Child in concert and they do not come close to Beyonce (she's a million times better on her own!)
I was a huge fan of hers before the concert now I am literally in awe.
I mean she is tiny yet has decent thighs and she was rocking some leotards, I now love my own thighs ha!
I didn't take too many pics as I prefer to actually enjoy the concert rather then worry about getting the perfect snap plus there are so many put up on FB people get the idea.

Here are a few:

What I wore * Dress Zara * Shoes Faith *

Myself, My Mum & Jen heading off

Love this girl :-)
Me and mum (she spoiled us!)

Pre show cocktails

Strutting her stuff

Giving it socks - she can seriously sing!

After show cocktails :-)

My poor sis had missed her flight home from Scotland so had to fly to Belfast and then bus it to Dublin for the gig, she made perfect time and we had a cocktail ready for her.

Did anyone else head to her throughout her tour - what did you think?

I've had a great Monday and I can feel my luck turning too, pretty excited for what lies ahead for me.

Hope your Monday has been awesome too,
