R.E.S.P.E.C.T.

Confession Time!!!

I have never had a skincare routine - up until a few months ago that is, actually since I started blogging.

I would take off my makeup alright and if my skin felt dry then I would moisturize but I never had something that I stuck to religiously and my skin was fine, I don't suffer from bad acne or anything. I couldn't even tell you what skin type I have.

But after reading a couple of skincare routine blog posts I realised that maybe it was time to treat my skin with a little bit more respect.

I now have a morning and evening routine (round of applause, thank you very much)

My morning consists of Clean & Clear Morning Energy exfoliating scrub (when buying this the woman at the till told me I was going to love it - she wasn't wrong) I find this is be the perfect way to start the morning and I notice how oily my skin gets if I don't use it.

I also use Nivea Visage Young Control Shine Matifying Gel (mouthful) I'm not too keen on this I don't think it's anything special but it works, when I've enough courage built up I'll try something new.

Morning Routine

I am so proud of my evening routine (remember I'm a rookie here)
If I'm staying in for the night I take my makeup off as soon as I get home, I also try my best to take it off before training but sometimes I totally forget (Tues I turned up with a full face of make up, winged eyes and all oops!)

I start off with La Roche Posay, Toleraine Dermo Cleaner for all skin types. This is heaven to use and I find that I don't need to use a lot either, it also doesn't dry out my skin after.

For my toner I am currently using Skin Wisdom Daily Care Refreshing Toner, I cant remember right now what it contains but I know that in tingles my skin a bit. Again no drying out so it's a winner.

For my night cream and eye cream (check me out) I use Garnier Youthful Radiance. Sometimes I wake up the next morning and I feel that my skin can be oily other then those times though I have no complaints.

Evening Routine

And then for when I'm super lazy or after a night out I fall back to my fail safe face wipes - I just can't do without. Actual baby wipes, Simple and Johnson & Johnson wipes don't react well with my skin so I stick to Garnier (Soft Essentials this time) I will never be without some.

When I'm Lazy/After a night out
I would love to know what your skincare routine is and also if you have any tips or advise for me?

Thanks for reading, B x
